Here at Slice of Spain we cover a vast area of the Costa Blanca North, from Calpe to Oliva. This Coastline between Calpe and Oliva is without doubt the most beautiful and picturesque of the northern Costa Blanca region. The towns located in this area are typically Spanish which complement the famous white sands of the Costa Blanca. The surrounding landscapes are stunning, with dramatic mountain ranges with many orange, olive and almond groves.
This area of the Costa Blanca is far less developed, leaving the Costa Blanca South and Costa Del Sol to cater for the larger proportion of tourism in Spain. Locations such as Javea, Moraira and Denia are in conservation zones where building heights are strictly controlled. It is reported by the World Health Organisation that his part of the Costa Blanca, in particular the Javea, Moraira and Denia peninsular does in fact have one of the most environmentally perfect climates in the world.
The climate boasts 320 days of sunshine a year and many people who reside here have confirmed that their various health conditions have greatly reduced due to the environment it has.
This area provides you with a superb mixture of white sandy beaches and coves, beautiful mountains and green valleys, quaint white villages, many fiestas, ancient churches, great food and of course the wonderful Spanish people that live here!
