A typical Spanish market town located at the foot of the Muntanya Gran and is surrounded by abundant agricultural farming land, orange groves and vineyards. It is both 20 minutes away from the two larger coastal towns of Dénia and Javea, and is close by to the Orba and Jalon valley. Its population is just over 7000 and it specializes in the manufacturing of leather goods.
Pedreguer also benefits from being both approximately 1 hour’s drive from both Alicante and Valencia. It has a sports centre and a culture centre that regularly stages exhibitions and acts.
In the summer month of July, Pedreguer holds fiestas dedicated to Sant Bonaventura with bull-running throughout the town. Pedreguer also hosts the fiestas of Sant Blai and Sant Antoni.
From the top of the Monte Pedreguer there are some breathtaking views, at one point you can see the panoramic views of Pedreguer town, Denia and Javea.
On the hillsides of Pedreguer there are three urbanisations which have spectacular views of the Montgo, Gata de Gorgos, Denia, Javea and Ondara.
